On Tuesday, April 15, five former Norwin High School standouts, including Eric Chorba, Jacob Bazala, Jayden Walker, Landon DiBeradin and Ty Cupp’s current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.

The game took place at Mercyhurst Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Penguins this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Naimoli Family Baseball Complex against Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.
