Former Hempfield Area High School standout Mikayla Hughes played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former Hempfield Area High School standout Mikayla Hughes’ current collegiate team the Pace Setters won 8-0 against the Wilmington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Pace Softball Field at 12 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Wilmington Wildcats in the tournament.

The Pace Setters’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 3:30 p.m. at Pace Softball Field.
