On Friday, April 4, former Hempfield Area High School standout Callie Sowers’ current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, won 10-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the East Stroudsburg Warriors.

The game took place at Jan M. Hutchinson Field. This was their second matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 2 p.m. at WCU Softball field against West Chester Golden Rams.
