On Wednesday, April 30, former Hempfield Area High School standout Callie Sowers’ current college team, the Bloomsburg Huskies, lost 16-11 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Slippery Rock The Rock.

The game took place at Veterans Park. This was their first matchup against the The Rock this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Veterans Park against Shippensburg Raiders.
