On Saturday, April 19, former Hempfield Area High School standout Mikayla Hughes’ current college team, the Pace Setters, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southern Connecticut Owls.
The game took place at Pace Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Owls this season.
The Setters’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m. at Bob Klein Field against Molloy Lions.
