Distance Learning Program Update (4/9/2020)
This morning (4/09/20), Governor Wolf announced that school buildings will continue to be closed for the remainder of the school year. This does not impact the current distance learning plan already in place for Kiski Area students. Even though our campuses will continue to be closed, school will continue uninterrupted for all students until the end of our school year.
As a reminder, families using the online option for learning must log into each child's Skyward account every day to be marked present. Logging in with parent credentials will not register a child's attendance. This can be done at any time between the hours of 12:00 am and 11:59 pm.
To access our Distance Learning 2020 page, click on the tab located in the top center of the page with that title. If accessing this from a mobile device, go to the three lines in the top right corner to open the menu and click Distance Learning 2020.
Meal Program Updates
* NEW (4.9.2020)
Meal distribution will not occur on Friday, April 10, 2020.
The regular distribution schedule will resume on Monday, April 13, 2020.
Meal Serving Sites
Parks Township Volunteer Fire Hall: Beginning Thursday, April 2, 2020 the Kiski Area School District will expand its meal distribution program to include the Parks Township Volunteer Fire Hall. Meal distribution will occur between 12:15 pm and 1:15 pm. Please call the Food Service Department at 724-842-0466 to register.
Avonmore First Presbyterian Church: Beginning Thursday, April 2, 2020, meal distribution will occur between the hours of 10:45 am and 11:45 am. If you have previously registered for this site, you will not need to register again.
East Primary School: Meal distribution times at East Primary will occur between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. If you are currently using this site, you will not need to register again.
