Graduates earn 108 degrees, certificates from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State New Kensington

About 26.8 percent of the 108 degrees and certificates handed out by Pennsylvania State University-Penn State New Kensington in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Kensington conferred 15 associate's degrees and 14 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in medical radiologic technology/science - radiation therapist. Data shows the school gave out 15 associate's degrees in medical radiologic technology/science - radiation therapist, followed by 14 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 14 bachelor's degrees in information science/studies.

The university enrolled 585 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
