Census Bureau: More women than men in Oklahoma in 2019

Of the 828 people living in Oklahoma in 2019, 50.5 percent (418) were women and 49.5 percent (410) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Westmoreland Review.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 267-to-249. In the 65 and over age range, there were 118 females and 101 males.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau's American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
