Qualified persons are invited to apply to the Rostraver Township Civil Service Commission to take competitive examinations, leading to eligibility, for appointment as a full-time police officer. Application Package may be obtained either at the Rostraver Township Police Department, 205 Municipal Drive, Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania 15012, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., or online at https://www.rostraver.us, beginning Friday, August 19, 2022 thru Friday, September 02, 2022.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Citizen of the U.S.A.
Must be 21 years of age but less than 40 years of age
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Shall have attained MPOETC Act 120 certification from a Pennsylvania Police Academy prior to appointment.
Current and Valid License to operate a motor vehicle in Pennsylvania.
Tattoos are not permitted on the head, hands, face, or neck. Any discriminatory or offensive tattoos are prohibited.
Applicants must reside within twenty-five (25) nautical miles of the boundaries of Rostraver Township within six months following the completion of their one (1) year probationary period.

The physical agility will be administered on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the Allegheny County Police Academy,
700 West Ridge Road, Allison Park, PA 15101. The written examination will be administered following the completion of the physical agility at a location to be determined.
