Annie Urban has joined The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in a new leadership role. She will oversee development and external affairs for the institution. Urban was previously the Executive Director of Principal Gifts & Community Engagement at Seton Hill University, where she is an alumna. Her extensive career includes roles as Executive Director at Fort Ligonier and various positions in the hotel and tourism sectors of the region.
In addition to her professional background, Urban is actively involved in the local community. She is the President of the Greensburg Community Development Corporation and serves on the Advisory Board of the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County. Urban is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greensburg and has held past leadership roles with the Ligonier Valley Endowment Board of Governors and the YWCA of Westmoreland Board of Directors.
Urban’s contributions have been recognized with the Seton Hill Distinguished Alumni Award for Service and the Boy Scouts of America Citizen of the Year Award.

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is noted for its dedication to American art and its commitment to providing meaningful cultural experiences that foster community engagement. It features a permanent collection focused on Southwestern Pennsylvania artists and offers a variety of temporary exhibitions and community events. General admission to the museum is free, with operating hours from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.
