Notice is hereby given that the County of Westmoreland is proposing substantial amendments to its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.

The County proposes amendments to the following FY 2018 CDBG activities:

• Hempfield Township Removal of Architectural Barriers, -$12,990.00 (budget decreased)
• St. Clair Township Street Reconstruction, -$26,706.07 (budget decreased)

The County proposes amendments to the following FY 2017 HOME activities:

• CHDO Set-Aside for Homeowner Rehab WCA, -$89,131.35 (activity cancelled) 
• CHDO Set-Aside for New Rental Construction Mary Street HBH, +$79,131.35 (activity created)
• CHDO Set-Aside for New Homebuyer Construction Youngwood Modular WCA, +$10,000.00 (activity created)

The County proposes amendments to the following FY 2018 HOME activities:

• Tenant Based Rental Assistance, -$70,000.00 (budget decreased)
• City of Jeannette Down Payment/Closing Cost Assistance, -$50,000.00 (activity cancelled)
• CHDO Set-Aside for Rental Rehab HBH, -$240,038.92 (activity cancelled)
• CHDO Set-Aside for Homeowner Rehab WCA, -$105,422.51 (activity cancelled)
• New Rental Construction Odin View Senior Housing Project, +$6,663.98 (budget increased)
• CHDO Set-Aside for New Rental Construction Mary Street HBH, +$458,797.35 (activity created)

The County proposes amendments to the following FY 2019 HOME activities:

• New Rental Construction Odin View Senior Housing Project, -$6,663.98 (budget decreased
• City of Jeannette Down Payment/Closing Cost Assistance, -$20,000.00 (activity cancelled)
• Countywide Homeowner Rehab, -$130,000.00 (activity cancelled)
• CHDO Set-Aside for New Rental Construction Mary Street HBH, +$156,663.98 (budget increased)

Copies of the proposed amendment are available for public inspection at the Westmoreland County Department of Planning and Development, Fifth Floor, 40 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Greensburg, PA 15601 from 8:00 A.M.to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. On July 16, 2020, the County Commissioners will consider the proposed amendments for adoption at their regular public meeting at 10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Meeting Rooms, First Floor, County Courthouse Annex, Greensburg, PA.
