50 percent of applicants to Citizens School of Nursing were admitted for fall 2018

At Citizens School of Nursing, 64 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 90 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in New Kensington enrolled 165 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Pennsylvania.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (95 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 50 percent of the eight students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 100 percent enrolled.
