City of Lower Burrell recently issued the following announcement.
Saturday, November 6, 2021 Noble Environmental will be conducting a household hazardous waste collection event at the City Hall municipal building in Lower Burrell. Accepted items are household hazardous waste/chemicals and electronics. Prohibited items are explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, large appliances, pharmaceuticals, syringes, medical waste, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, mercury congaing devices, elemental mercury, compressed gas, and tires. Registration is required at the Noble Environmental Website. The tentative recycling date mentioned in the sewer bills for October 30, 2021 has been cancelled, the next recycling event is November 6, 2021.
