The Belle Vernon Area Football Team, victorious in the 2023 PIAA Class AAA Championship, was warmly welcomed by legislators in Harrisburg. The players and coaches had the honor of meeting with Pennsylvania State Representatives Eric Davanzo and Ryan Warner, along with Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tem Kim Ward and Senator Pat Stefano. The team's impressive triumph over Northwestern Lehigh with a score of 38-7 secured their second PIAA trophy in consecutive years.
