The House Republican Policy Committee, led by Chairman Joshua D. Kail and Representative Eric Nelson, is set to conduct a hearing titled “Opportunity Lost: Bureaucracy’s Battle Against Fracking.” This event aims to discuss the repercussions of policies perceived as threats to fracking jobs, income stability for families, and the reliability of the energy grid.

The session will feature testimonies from key figures such as Michael Hillenbrand, CEO and president of Huntley and Huntley; Jeff Nobers, executive director of Pittsburgh Works Together; along with representatives from local manufacturing and agriculture sectors.

Scheduled for Tuesday, September 17 at 2 p.m., the hearing will take place at the Hempfield Township Municipal Building in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The proceedings are expected to be available via online streaming barring any technical issues.
