WASHINGTON, D.C. — The House of Representatives has passed H.Con.Res. 14, a resolution initiating the federal budget reconciliation process. This development was acknowledged by Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA), who released a statement following the vote.

Reschenthaler stated, “The American people made it clear at the ballot box — they want to live in a nation that secures its borders, unleashes its energy, protects its citizens, and is fiscally responsible with their hard-earned tax dollars." He added that the passage of the House budget resolution "sends a strong signal that House Republicans are serious about delivering the America First results necessary to fully enact President Trump’s agenda of greatness and prosperity.”

The resolution marks an initial step towards aligning with fiscal policies advocated by House Republicans and former President Donald Trump.
