Ligonier Township receives $587,000 grant for sidewalks and pedestrian bridge

Rep. Leslie Rossi has announced that Ligonier Township will receive a $587,000 grant from the Multimodal Transportation Fund. The grant is intended to support the construction of sidewalks and a pedestrian bridge, improving safety and infrastructure in the area for both residents and visitors.

"Investing in infrastructure such as sidewalks and pedestrian bridges is critical to creating safer and more accessible communities," said Rossi. "This grant will help Ligonier Township build the infrastructure needed to improve the quality of life for our residents and ensure our community remains vibrant and connected for years to come."

The Multimodal Transportation Fund operates under the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which manages the state's economic development programs. This fund provides grants to projects that aim to enhance transportation safety, spur economic growth, and improve the living standards across Pennsylvania.
