State Representative Eric Davanzo has expressed concerns over the actions of U.S. Senator Bob Casey and other officials regarding the 2024 Senate election results in Pennsylvania. Davanzo criticized efforts to count ballots he claims were illegally submitted, which he believes undermines the rule of law.

Davanzo stated, “Sen. Bob Casey has served this Commonwealth for decades, often portraying himself as an adamant supporter of the rule of law. However, his recent actions have spoken louder than words.” He accused Casey of refusing to concede and influencing Democratic County commissioners to ignore a state Supreme Court precedent requiring mail-in ballots to be properly dated.

The representative highlighted that “Democrats are admittedly allowing the counting of fraudulent votes to take place across Pennsylvania,” calling it disingenuous to registered voters who followed guidelines. With a recount looming, Davanzo argued that these actions undermine election integrity and disrespect Pennsylvania residents.

Davanzo urged Governor Josh Shapiro to address what he sees as a threat to election security by ensuring compliance with existing laws and court precedents. He called on Shapiro "to follow the law as written" and emphasized his responsibility "to protect our elections."
