Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) shared his views following President Donald J. Trump's address to Congress.
"Tonight’s joint address to Congress saw President Donald J. Trump outline his accomplishments and vision for our nation’s future – one of prosperity, patriotism, and America First policies," stated Reschenthaler. He emphasized the achievements made by President Trump within the initial 40 days of his second term, contrasting them with what he described as the previous administration's shortcomings.
Reschenthaler highlighted several key areas where he believes progress has been made under Trump's leadership. "The border is now secure at levels not seen in this century, our communities are safe, and our country is back to being respected across the world after years of weakness and appeasement," he noted.
He concluded by expressing optimism about the current state of the nation. "Our nation’s Golden Age is here, and I am proud to champion the president’s agenda in Congress as we work to build off this unprecedented success and restore America."
