Cost of college went up for all students at Seton Hill University

Tuition and fees rose 3.1 percent for 2018-19 at Seton Hill University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Pennsylvania students paid $35,748 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,088 more than the $34,660 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 422 students received grants or scholarships totaling $10.1 million and 330 students took out student loans totaling more than $3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,297), 1,555 students used grants or scholarships totaling $34 million, and 1,201 students took out $8.1 million in federal student loans.
