2.4 percent of Westmoreland County Community College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 2.4 percent of Westmoreland County Community College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Westmoreland County Community College has a total student body of 4,848 students, of which 64 percent are women and 36 percent are men. Of these students, 67 men and 48 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Westmoreland County Community College with the most participants are basketball (23), baseball (19) and track and field, x-country (19).
