Scottdale Borough has been made aware of a letter circulating regarding the Scottdale Heroes Banner Program. This letter does not identify the sender and attempts to solicit monetary payments from those who already have banners. 

Please be advised that the Borough is not aware of any group that is formally organized and permitted to accept funds or maintain the Banner Program at this time. We do not advise residents to send funds to any unknown or unofficial source. 

The Borough will be investigating the state of the Scottdale Heroes Banner Program as well as the individual(s) responsible for this letter. We will update the community with more information on the Banner Program when it becomes available.
