The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, is set to host its annual Holiday Mart and Winter Nights at the Museum events. The Holiday Mart will occur from December 5 to December 7, offering a unique shopping experience featuring booths by local artisans. Visitors can expect handcrafted items such as jewelry and ceramics. "For a complete list of local artisans participating in Holiday Mart, please visit the Museum’s website," the museum stated.

The event includes complimentary hot chocolate, sweet treats, live musical entertainment, and free gift-wrapping for all purchases. Shoppers will receive a 10% discount on regular-priced merchandise at the Museum Shop both in-store and online, with members receiving an additional 10% off. There will also be raffle prizes available.

Winter Nights at the Museum will take place on Thursdays from November 21 through December 26, excluding Thanksgiving. These evenings are designed for all ages and include activities like exploring the museum's permanent collection and the Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven exhibition. Attendees can enjoy live music performances by local musicians and participate in art-making activities such as holiday diorama creation and ornament making.

Funding for these events is provided by The Greensburg Foundation Family of Funds of The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, affiliated with The Pittsburgh Foundation. Corporate partners supporting these events include Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, Inc., First Commonwealth Advisors, FirstEnergy, Fotorecord Print Center, Schneider Downs, and Seton Hill University. Additional support comes from Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

The Westmoreland Museum offers free general admission and presents a variety of community-oriented events throughout the year. More information about these events can be found on their website.
